Alan’s Birthday
Today is Alan’s birthday and he is really pleased, he had a lovely watch off my daughter Claire and her husband Isa, knickers from me,
he really needed them too!
But the one he liked the most was this lovely throw made by his Mother.

Bread Basket Cloth
As regular visitors know I have only recently learnt to crochet, the only thing I have made previously was a dish cloth, but I wanted to learn to do filet, I found this Fleur-de-Lis bread cloth on Crochet pattern central, there are lots of mistakes but I am pleased with the result, considering I have never followed a crochet pattern before.

New Hobby
I have been meaning to learn to crochet for donkeys years, just lately I joined in with our local knitting group and this week it was a crochet class, yippee, finally. Dawnel who takes the crochet class sat with me all afternoon practicing the stitches, I came home all excited and found some wool and a crochet hook I knew I had somewhere!! This is what I managed to do, this is my first ever hand made dish cloth.
What about that colour? it was the only cotton yarn I had in my stash, I love it, much to nice to get dirty.
